Our Story
Colel Chabad is established by Rabbi Schneur Zalman of Liadi to support Jewish communities in the Holy Land — making it one of the oldest continuously operating charities in the world.
With the founding of the State of Israel, Colel Chabad expands its relief operations to support a rapidly growing population of new immigrants and Holocaust survivors.
The Pantry Packers volunteer project is launched, mobilizing thousands of visitors to Israel each year to pack food parcels for needy families.
Colel Chabad begins online fundraising and donor outreach, reaching supporters in 50+ countries and dramatically expanding the scale of annual giving.
A new digital platform launches to educate, inspire, and connect donors globally — bringing together learning, giving, and community around the value of tzedakah.

Set up a recurring gift. Small, consistent contributions compound into transformative impact.
Introduce a pushka to your home and involve your family in the daily practice of tzedakah.
