Their Story
Leket Israel is the country's largest food rescue organization, operating at a national scale. Each week, volunteers glean fields after the harvest and collect prepared meals from hotels, army bases, and event halls — food that would otherwise go to waste.
The rescued food is sorted, packaged, and distributed through a network of over 200 non-profit partner organizations, reaching hundreds of thousands of Israelis every week.
